It doesn't matter if you're a salesperson, sales manager, GSM, GM, or the dealer principal. You all have a responsibility to do everything possible that converts people into paying customers.
Why Are Internet Leads Tough To Sell:
Here's the thing.
Leads get ignored by everyone I just mentioned and rather than do nothing about it, do this.
First impressions are everything in this game. Assuming that you're set up with the right type of email address, start with your subject line. Content is king. But nobody cares if you can’t get people to open your email.
That’s why a subject line is so important. It’s your gateway. Without a great subject
line, your emails look like every other dealership's, your emails go unread, and your emails go unopened. You go unnoticed.

keep it stupid simple
Your customer isn’t grading you—they’re scanning, skimming, and deciding whether to delete you.
That’s where the emails come in.
They’ve got to be short. Sharp. Persuasive as hell.
Written for real humans who open their inbox and think, “Is this worth my time?
Here’s something else to think about.
When someone is thinking about getting a motorcycle.
First thing they do is to get on the internet and check out some websites.
Next is checking out the local dealers. They’ve got buttons to choose from. Click the ‘Request a Quote‘.
Next, they answer the questions. You know. First name, last name, phone number, and email address…
Now it’s time to wait.
Unless they were fortunate enough to locate a ‘good’ dealership… or salesperson, it’s gonna take hours to get a human response.
Rather than puke on your customer like the example up above, your first response should sound like you're real, you're not AI, and you write like an 8th grader. This is 'sales', not grandma's English 101.
The first response should be something like....
Subject: John, Your Quote is Ready | Call us at 555-555-1212

HOw can a dealership or salesperson replicate the success of a dealership like
imperial sportbikes?
#1: Go to your website.
#2: Act like a customer. Click on the Request a Quote... or whatever you call it.
#3: Input your info.
#4: Don't check your inbox just yet! What do you see? That's right... nothing good. You're still on the same page.
#5: Now, check your inbox. What do you see now? Likely it's the same email that your web provider set you and 5,000 other dealerships up with.
#6: Do something about it.
If it looks like crap. Fix it!
Don't know how? At the bottom of this page is a link that will get you started. We'll not only give you the instructions but we'll give you the copy n' paste template.

If you haven't paid attention to the research that is handled by Pied Piper, they're the group that helps the biggest powersports brands make their investors happy.
Secret shopper calls, emails, and text messages.
The chart above has a range of 0 to 100.
No one scored above 55! That's an F in my grade book.
Do you know anyone that doesn't call a score of 55 an F?
Me neither.
Is the F word a forbidden word cause of the new 'don't offend anyone' society?
Last year that high score was 61.
Could this be part of the reason Imperial Sportbikes went from being an unknown 1 man showroom to the #2 Aprilia dealer in less than 3 years?
That's part of it.
First... they saw the results you're staring at.
Next, they admitted they were part of the problem.
In 3 minutes they fixed problem #1. The auto responder. (the cheat sheet they used is at the end of this)
Next, they looked at what else should be fixed, made some more changes, measured the results, kept tweaking (not that kind), and then BOOM!
Other dealerships and sales teams said, "but those are manufacturer grades!" We're different...
You could be right, but maybe you're part of the 'everyone gets a trophy' group.
Only 14% of dealerships scored over 80.
43% scored under 40.
The founder of Pied Piper (company that does the research) has even said, "The effort is worth it."
"On average, dealerships that score over 80, sell 50% more vehicles to the same quantity of website customers, compared to dealerships that score under 40."
